Hello, Goodbye

As you already know my last day at GPC is Friday. It's been a great experience working with you all! I'm looking forward to some new adventures at Tech but will always fondly remember my time at the JCLRC.

Non-functioning Laptop for OIT

Please note that OIT will be coming by the Circulation Desk to pick up a non-functioning laptop. The laptop is located in the Reserves room next to the metal cabinet, and is labeled "Hold for OIT."

Problem with online laptop renewals

It looks like there is a glitch with the laptops in Voyager. Basically, students are not able to renew laptops online. Tessa is looking into it and, hopefully, this is a temporary problem that should be fixed by tomorrow.

In the meantime (i.e. Wednesday evening and Thursday morning) please ask students to lug those laptops to the desk to renew.

"I need my username and password for the computers"

It is one of the most common questions we get at both the Circulation and Reference desks. There is now a dedicated computer station for students to obtain their username and password located in front of the Circ desk. Please direct students to that workstation to obtain their logon information for the campus network.
