GIL Express reminder

Regarding GIL Express:

"I've been asked by an esteemed colleague and GIL Express veteran to remind everyone to make sure you do not leave GIL Express-related paperwork in the books when you return the books, specifically paperwork that has patron-specific information on it like the hold slips and the routing slips as we need to be mindful of protecting patron privacy.

So when sending books back to the holding institution, make sure there is not hold slip or routing slip left in the books.

Hi everyone,

Just a note to thank you for a great spring semester. You have all gone above and beyond, and I know that your efforts have a direct impact on the service we provide to our students and community patrons.

As we move into summer, please feel free to drop by my office, give me a call or send me a message about any ideas, concerns or thoughts you have regarding the Circulation department or processes. I really appreciate your input, and please know that I will do my best to act upon any suggestions or ideas you send my way.

GEOL 1121 Reserve

A textbook (B-486) has been placed on reserve for GEOL 1121 (D. Altin). On the inside cover is a CD-ROM (B-487). When patrons request either of these reserve items, please charge BOTH textbook and CD-ROM. The instructor is adamant that CD-ROM be returned and in working condition with no physical damages (You do not have to run the CD-ROM each time it is returned. Just check to make sure it isn't broken.). Don't forget to discharge the CD-ROM as well. Otherwise, patron will be accrue fines. Thank you!

Weekend Hours Extended

The library is extending its weekend hours during finals in order to give students a few extra hours to study.

Saturday, May 9th: 9a - 5p
Sunday, May 10th: 1p - 7p

Summer Schedule Update

The four-day work week is scheduled to start on the week of May 18th and end on the week of July 27th. There may be a few days during the intersession period where the library may be closed to the public for inventory. More information to come if this is a possibility.

Here is a schedule of the summer library hours:

May 18th - June 7 (Intersession - No classes)
Monday - Thursday: 9a - 5p
Friday- Sunday: Closed
May 25th (Memorial Day): Closed

June 8 - July 30th (Classes in Session)
Monday - Thursday: 7:45a - 9p
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 10a - 3p
