Visitor Computer Use During Finals
Since our student computers will be in high demand during the next two weeks, we're going to limit the times when visitors can use guest computers:

* Monday May 3 - Thursday May 6 7-10pm only
* Friday May 7 - Sunday May 8 all day access
* Monday May 10 - Wednesday May 12 7-10pm only
* Thursday May 13 - Friday May 14 all day access

Signs are posted at the reference desk and at each guest computer.

Items on Hold

Please note: When discharging intercampus and GIL Express items, please take time to read the routing slip that prints out. Every once in a while one will read "ROUTE ITEM FOR HOLD" instead of "ROUTE ITEM". These items do not go on the shelf in the Circ. workroom. Instead, please give these items to either Christine or me and we'll make sure that it is sent to the correct institution.

GIL Express Patron Account

Attention Circ. Staff:

As most of you are aware, GIL Express items cannot be seen on a patron's account in Voyager. There is, however, a way to check to see what items they have out. I have placed a bookmark called GIL Patron Information on both circ. desk computers in the Firefox browsers (located at the top of the screen, underneath the address bar.) Simply click on that and it should route you to the GIL Express Patron Information page. Select the patron's home institution and enter their 900# to access their account information.

Taken from an email from Leslie:

As many of you already know, Brittany Meadows, one of our student assistants who has worked in both Circulation and Reference, is leaving us to take a job at the Decatur campus library starting March 8th. Her last day here is this Thursday and we would like to give her a little farewell party that morning, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. Food and drink are already arranged, so if you can stop by to see Brittany off and to have a snack, please do!
