W-2 Forms

****CORRECTION: ADP will be mailing W-2s to your home and can be accessed online at portal.adp.com. Sorry for the confusion!!

Ms. Dennis brought to my attention that W-2s are not being mailed out this year. Instead, they are available to print out on portal.adp.com. Just log in onto ADP as usual and click on the MONEY tab at the top. Links should appear to the left of your screen. Click on ANNUAL STATEMENTS and a link to your 2009 W-2 should appear. Just click on that and you should be able to print it out from there.

Pamela Gore Reserves

I'm sure that all of you are familiar with Pam Gore's rocks/minerals/fossils reserve items in the reserve room.
I just wanted to pass around the news that ALL of her reserves are now 2 hour reserves and ONLY for use within the library.

There may possibly be some irate students, but just make them aware that this was a decision made by Ms. Gore and is out of our hands.

"The keyword search function for the Universal Catalog is not working. It has a
file that got corrupted. A process is underway to rebuild this file, but it will
take several hours.

In the meantime, the Left Anchored searches are working fine. Patrons can go to
the Exact Search tab and perform searches.

We will send more information when the process finishes."

Computer Lab Assistance for GPC Username/Password

I noticed this posted on the reference blog and I thought it would be useful info:

"Once again, Scott Smith and his wonderful computer lab assistants are helping out in the library with GPC Username lookup and Password creation. This week a lab assistant is scheduled Mon-Thurs at the little desk by the front door from 9-1:30 and 3-5:30. So, you can send students needing username/password assistance to the "front desk" during those hours as well as to either Computer Lab, CC1180 or CL2350.

FYI - The other campus libraries are no longer receiving this assistance, so if you see Scott, please thank him!"
