Technical Difficulties - Circulation Desk

I'm sure you all have noticed we have a new computer at the Circ. Desk (the one closest to the reserve workroom.) The barcode scanner should work properly on this computer. At the moment, however, it does not have a card scanner. This means that patron id #s will have to be typed in manually.

You will also notice that we don't have proper barcode fonts. This means that when you print out routing slips or receipts, actual BARCODES will not print out. Instead, you'll just see numbers. That's fine for now, no biggie

We're working on resolving these issues ASAP.

BOTH of the computers at the Circulation Desk have been acting up these past couple of days. The card scanner and the barcode scanners are NOT WORKING. For now, we will have to manually type in patron id #s and book barcodes to charge out items.

OIT is aware of our problem. Hopefully our problem will be resolved soon. Thanks for your patience. Please let me know if you have any questions.
